AFU advanced in the Siversk direction: ISW analysis.
Ukrainian forces have again gained positions to the southeast of Siversk and moved closer to Spirne, reports the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) citing geolocation footage. AFU also experienced minor movements in the west of Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Meanwhile, Russian troops continue their offensive towards the north and northeast of Kharkiv. Armed clashes are happening in the north of the city, in the areas of Hlyboke and Lyptsi, as well as in the northeast, in the areas of Tykhe and Vovchansk.
On August 13, battles continued along the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, but no confirmed changes to the front line yet. Information from a Russian milblogger about advances of Russian troops near Tabaivka has not been confirmed.
Russian troops also recently moved towards Chasiv Yar and approached Klishchiivka, but there is currently no official data on changes to the front line. Russian forces also advanced towards Ivanivka to the east of Pokrovsk.
Russian troops occupied eastern Kostyantynivka to the southwest of Donetsk. The information is confirmed by geolocation footage published on August 12. Shelling was also registered in the border area of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts and near Vuhledar.
Ukrainian forces made minor advances to the northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The AFU General Staff also reported that Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attacks on the eastern bank of the Kherson oblast.
