The Ukrainian Armed Forces paralyzed key oil refineries in Russia: affected fuel and drone factories.
According to inkorr.com: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the damage to a number of key facilities on the territory of Russia. Thanks to these operations, the process of reducing the military and economic potential of the aggressor continues. This was reported by 'Glavcom', citing the General Staff.
“To reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian army and complicate fuel supplies to the occupiers' units, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the oil refining plant 'Gazprom Neftkhim-Salavat' in Bashkortostan on the night of September 24. According to preliminary information, the primary oil refining unit ELOU-AVT-6 was damaged. A fire is currently ongoing at the plant,” the report states.
This enterprise processed up to 10 million tons of oil per year and played an important role in supplying liquid rocket fuel for Russia. The Defense Forces also struck key facilities in the Volgograd region that supply the occupying troops.
Impact on production in Russia
In particular, the 'Kuzmychi-1' oil pumping station was damaged; it is part of the raw oil transportation system to the southern regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, the 'Zenzevatka' station was hit, which transports oil through the 'Kuibyshev-Tikhoretsk' main oil pipeline.
According to the General Staff, last night, Ukrainian units also struck a drone production facility in Valuyki, Belgorod region, resulting in hits and fires.
“The successful implementation of one of the previous missions has been confirmed. Thus, on September 22, long-range weapons of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Astrakhan gas processing plant (Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation). Sections of production were damaged, leading to the stoppage of part of the production process. This gas processing plant is one of the largest gas-chemical complexes in the world and the main producer of sulfur for explosives in the Russian Federation, accounting for up to 66% of Russian production. The annual capacity for processing oil products at the Astrakhan gas processing plant is up to 3.2 million tons per year,” the General Staff added.
According to preliminary reports, the drones of the 'Alpha' Special Operations Center hit Bashkortostan for the second time in the last seven days, striking 'Gazprom Neftkhim Salavat', one of the largest Russian oil refining enterprises.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to strike at facilities on the territory of Russia to weaken the military and economic potential of the aggressor. These attacks have targeted key oil refining and gas processing enterprises, significantly impacting the production and resources of the Russian military machine. The actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have led to serious damage to strategically important infrastructure in Russia, forcing the occupiers to seek alternative sources and routes for supplying fuel and other resources.
