According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian soldiers discharged from the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entitled to a one-time financial payment. This includes those who were conscripted during mobilization. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has set the payment at 4% of their monthly monetary allowance, with a guaranteed minimum of 25% of that allowance, excluding bonuses.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, 'military personnel who were called up for service by conscription during mobilization, for a special period, or from among reservists for a special period, and are being discharged from service, are paid a one-time financial assistance in the amount of 4 percent of the monthly monetary allowance.'
Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have the right to this assistance upon discharge. The right to the one-time financial payment is granted to those service members who were mobilized through conscription. The payment is made in the amount of 4% of the monthly monetary allowance, but the sum cannot be less than 25% of the monthly monetary allowance, excluding bonuses.
The introduction of this one-time payment for discharged soldiers marks a significant step in Ukraine's social policy. This support is part of broader efforts to assist veterans transitioning back to civilian life after their service in the ongoing conflict. It will help former mobilized personnel adapt to civilian life by providing financial support during the transition period. Such measures may also serve as an incentive for service members considering a return to duty in the event of future mobilizations.
