US President Donald Trump confirmed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will arrive in Washington on February 28.
The American leader made this statement during his press conference and the first meeting of the new cabinet. According to Trump, an agreement on rare earth minerals will be signed during this visit.
This will be a very large agreement regarding rare earth metals and other resources. Everything has already been worked out, and we are happy about it', – emphasized the US president.
Trump also noted that he plans to negotiate with Russia and Ukraine about 'ending the killings'. In addition, he reported that over the past two years, he has been negotiating with the President of Russia regarding peace in Ukraine.
The American leader also mentioned intentions to return funds that the US previously provided to Ukraine.
Rubio also talked about how the US wants to understand Russia's readiness for peace.
