'The Russians failed to create a so-called buffer zone in the Dnipropetrovsk region or establish a foothold to advance further, for instance, toward Pavlohrad or the regional capital of Dnipro.' Serhiy Bratchuk

It is worth recalling that by April 1, Russian forces had planned to fully capture Donetsk Oblast, but this objective was not achieved. Hostilities continue, and the frontline remains tense.

These developments underscore the intensity of ongoing combat operations in eastern Ukraine, where Ukrainian troops continue to demonstrate their ability to effectively counter enemy offensives. The destruction of a substantial number of Russian soldiers and military hardware indicates that Ukraine’s army maintains high combat readiness and defensive capability. The future trajectory of the front will hinge on strategic decisions by both sides and the level of international support.
