Woman, 80, Sentenced for Historic Sex Crimes Against Teenager.
Hazel Templeton's Sentence
According to TSN.ua: Hazel Templeton, now 80 years old, has been convicted of indecent acts against a teenager that occurred in the 1980s. The court sentenced her to three years and nine months in prison, to be served concurrently with a previous sentence she received in 2025. Templeton is also now subject to sex offender notification requirements.
The court found Templeton guilty on four counts. It was established that she:
- forced the victim to touch her intimate body parts;
- engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim on two occasions.
During the commission of these crimes, the victim attempted to harm herself. Templeton had previously been sentenced to two years and nine months in prison in 2025 for related offenses.

In delivering the sentence, Judge Celia Hughes noted: “There is no evidence that you have expressed remorse or acknowledged your guilt for the crimes for which I am sentencing you today.”
