Russia may launch massive strikes on Ukraine weekly: statement from the Armed Forces of Ukraine's PS

According to ТСН: Russia has enough resources to conduct massive missile and drone attacks on Ukraine one to two times a week. This was confirmed by the head of the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, during the Unified News program.

Ihnat noted that such statistics indicate Russia's capability to manufacture weapons for attacks:

«We have statistics; there is no need to guess. Unfortunately, there are massive strikes one to two times a week, which indicates that Russia has enough resources that it manufactures».

According to Ihnat, massive attacks will continue despite Ukraine's strikes on the enemy's military-industrial facilities. He also emphasized that during the autumn-winter period, Russia traditionally intensifies attacks on energy infrastructure:

«It is clear that there may be an intensification of these strikes, so we always appeal to our Western partners for increasing the supply of anti-aircraft munitions, primarily missiles. We understand that without this, it will be difficult to protect the country from such shelling».

It was also reported that F-16 fighters in Ukraine are demonstrating high effectiveness, intercepting over 1300 aerial targets, including downed cruise missiles, and supporting ground troops. Additionally, new SAMP/T anti-aircraft missile systems that Ukraine is receiving to strengthen its air defense will be able to effectively destroy ballistic and hypersonic missiles.

Given the situation, it is essential for the West to continue supporting Ukraine in its fight against aggression. Supplying modern anti-aircraft systems and aviation will not only aid in the protection of airspace but also create conditions for a more stable situation at the front. Active military support from allies will remain critically important in the face of the growing threat from Russia.
