Single Father Mobilized in Kryvyi Rih Released After Public Outcry.
Mobilization of a Single Father
According to Espreso.tv: In Kryvyi Rih, a single father of a 5-year-old girl, who was conscripted, has been sent home to address child-related matters following a public uproar. This outcome was driven by community activism and the intervention of concerned citizens who rallied around the man's predicament.
The mobilization occurred on June 30. After his divorce, the man was solely responsible for raising his child, a factor that complicated his case. He applied twice for a deferment from mobilization but was denied each time. According to Dmytro Lubinets, the institution's director, the father independently fulfilled all parental duties—a situation that could not be overlooked by the public.
“Thanks to the public outcry and the joint efforts of all concerned individuals in Kryvyi Rih, the mobilized father was released to go home,” stated Dmytro Lubinets.
This incident highlights the need to support families facing difficult life circumstances and has sparked debate over the mobilization of parents who are raising children alone.
Challenges Faced by Single Fathers
This case not only sheds light on the struggles single parents encounter during wartime but also underscores the critical role of societal support in resolving personal and family crises. The issue of conscripting single fathers requires thorough discussion within state institutions to find balanced solutions that protect the rights of both children and their caregivers.
