The Ministry of Justice explained the performance of notarial actions during the restoration of the Ministry of Justice registries

The Ministry of Justice explained how notarial actions will be carried out during the restoration of the Ministry of Justice registries. This was reported on the ministry's Facebook page.

Currently, it is allowed to perform notarial actions without the use and submission of information concerning:

  • the inheritance registry;
  • the single register of powers of attorney;
  • the single register of special forms of notarial documents.
Registration of information about wills, amendments to them, revocation of wills, initiated inheritance cases, inheritance contracts, amendments to them, termination of inheritance contracts, their duplicates, and notarization of powers of attorney, their termination, are carried out without the use of the Inheritance Registry and the Single Register of Powers of Attorney, with subsequent entry into it of the relevant information

Citizens can also now contact a notary to perform notarial actions that are not related to checking the information contained in the State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate and the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Public Formations.

This concerns:

  • certification of wills and powers of attorney;
  • issuance of duplicates of notarial documents stored in the notary's cases;
  • confirmation of the accuracy of copies (photocopies) of documents and extracts from them;
  • confirmation of the authenticity of signatures on documents, including confirmation of the authenticity of signatures on consent for a child to travel abroad without one parent accompanying;
  • confirmation of the accuracy of translations of documents from one language to another;
  • execution of enforcement inscriptions.

Furthermore, a notary can conduct an inheritance case at the request of an heir.

Previously, 'Glavkom' reported that due to failures in the operation of some state registries, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are suspending the provision of services related to vehicles, in particular, the scrapping of cars.

It should be noted that a large-scale failure in the operation of state registries occurred last night at the level of network infrastructure.

After this, the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishina, stated that the largest external cyber attack on Ukraine's state registries has occurred in recent times.
