What does the agreement on natural resources between Ukraine and the USA look like: a telling cartoon.
Speculations about the deal between Trump and Ukraine
The British magazine The Spectator published an article with a cartoon titled 'The Dirty Deal: What Trump Really Wants from Ukraine's Natural Resources'. This cartoon depicts Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and a large bear with a red star - a symbol of Russia.
The Spectator shows that Trump is trying to impose a deal on Zelensky, who looks surprised. Behind Trump stands J.D. Vance, supporting him. But behind them is a huge Russian bear, which could symbolize Russia's influence and the pressure it exerts in this situation.
Presumably, this cartoon mocks the possible pressure Trump is putting on Ukraine to make a deal that would benefit Russia.
The USA and Ukraine continue negotiations regarding the signing of a deal on natural resources. Caroline Levitt from the White House reported this at a briefing on March 5. Ukraine is ready to sign an agreement with the USA to begin cooperation. However, this raises certain speculations and doubts regarding the agreement that both sides are preparing.
Overall, these negotiations include an agreement on the next work on a specific international agreement to create an investment fund.
