A court has the authority to award such retroactive support, but for a maximum of ten years. Support Arrears and Financial Assistance

It is important to note that in Ukraine, children are entitled to receive support until age 23 if they continue their education, ensuring financial assistance during their studies. • Starting January 1, 2026, the minimum monthly child support amounts will be:

  • 1,756 hryvnias for children aged six to 18.
• Furthermore, the financial assistance payment for the birth of a child will increase to 50,000 hryvnias from January 1, 2026.
