Drone Strike Near Kyiv Injures Two and Sets Home Ablaze.
Strike by Attack Drones in the Vyshhorod District
According to TSN.ua: An attack using strike drones in the Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region on February 13 left two people wounded. A man sustained multiple shrapnel wounds to his upper limbs, face, and neck, while a woman suffered a closed fracture of the forearm bones. Both victims were transported to a local hospital to receive medical care.
The assault also ignited a fire in a private residential house. The blaze destroyed the roof and flooring of the building and damaged windows and doors. Units from the State Emergency Service worked to extinguish the fire. This incident follows a separate drone strike earlier the same day by Russian invaders on the building of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District State Administration.
"The injured man suffered multiple shrapnel wounds," noted doctor Mykola Kalashnyk.
Law enforcement authorities report the situation is under control.
Ongoing Threat from Drone Attacks
This event underscores the persistent threat posed by Russian drones, which continue to harm civilians and damage infrastructure. Attacks targeting residential homes and administrative buildings signal an escalation of violence in the region, demanding heightened vigilance from security forces and the international community. These drone strikes have become a frequent tactic in the ongoing conflict. Law enforcement agencies are continuing their investigation to determine the full circumstances and identify those responsible for these acts.
