Explosions in Taganrog and Drone Strikes

According to TSN.ua: A series of blasts lasting more than two hours rocked Taganrog in the Rostov region on March 29. The drone attack resulted in one fatality and one injured person. Local sources report approximately 20 separate explosions occurred.

Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar confirmed fires and structural damage at the scene, along with the evacuation of residents.

“Details are being clarified,” he stated.

Response to the Incident

In the wake of the attack, authorities declared a drone threat alert across the region. Separately, a drone strike also hit Krasnodar, where an unmanned aircraft may have struck a multi-story residential building.

  • The SBU's Alpha special operations center struck the Russian factory "Atlant Aero" in Taganrog.
  • SBU long-range drones successfully targeted infrastructure at the Ust-Luga port oil terminal.

These events underscore the rising tensions in the area and the intensification of drone attacks, which pose serious risks to civilians. The wave of explosions in Taganrog and similar strikes in other regions signal an escalation of the conflict and a potential shift in combat tactics.

Facing new threats to civilian safety, local authorities are forced to implement security measures, including evacuations and drone threat alerts. These incidents may mark a new phase in military operations, significantly impacting regional stability.
