Russia has destroyed medical storage in Dnipro: The city could be left without medication.
According to ТСН: The mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, commented on the aftermath of the morning rocket attack that hit civilian enterprises in the city. According to him, the enemy has destroyed a storage for waste and bandages as well as a tire storage.
"I still do not understand why we remain silent about the destruction of civilian enterprises by these bastards. I am not state propaganda and not a 'telethon', but for those who appreciate state secrets, I would like to say that the million-city sees with its own eyes how and where it burns," he said.
The occupiers have struck businesses again
Filatov reported that the opponent has struck businesses again.
"They set fire to the storage for waste and bandages, as well as the tire storage. I do not believe I said anything unnecessary when the plume of smoke rose into the sky," the mayor reported.
Goal of the Russian attack on Dnipro
The mayor also outlined the goal of the Russian attack on the city.
"They want to leave us without light this winter, but also without medication... And we continue to delude ourselves," he added.
Who owned the medication storage
One of the storages damaged during the attacks in Dnipro belonged to one of the largest pharmaceutical wholesalers 'BaDM'. Previously, the occupiers had already attacked storages with medicines in November and October.
This was confirmed by the company 'BaDM' in a comment to the media.
Currently, the number of victims and the damage is not known. The company’s website states that it has over 60,000 square meters of storage complexes.
What preceded
Let us remember that on November 15, Russian troops struck a storage of the second-largest pharmaceutical distributor 'Optima-Pharm' in Dnipro. This warehouse was completely destroyed, but none of the employees were injured.
Earlier, on October 25, a storage complex and office of 'Optima-Pharm' in Kyiv was destroyed, and the damages were estimated at 100 million dollars at that time. This attack also destroyed 20% of Ukraine's monthly medication supply.
Moreover, on August 28, the Russians shelled a pharmaceutical storage of 'Optima-Pharm' in Kyiv as part of a rocket attack.
At the beginning of the large war, the Russians had already struck 'BaDM' logistics complexes in the Kyiv and Poltava regions.
Let us remember that on December 1, the RF troops carried out a rocket attack on Dnipro, killing four people and injuring about 50.
This further attack confirms the targeted and brutal nature of the aggressor's actions aimed at destroying civilian infrastructure, especially medical supplies. Cases of destruction of warehouses and logistics centers raise concerns about the population's supply of medicines, especially in the winter months when the need for medical materials increases.
