Russian strike on Odesa ports: two dead, eight injured.
According to ТСН: A tragedy has occurred in the Odesa region related to strikes by the Russian army on ports.
Casualties
As a result of the attack, two people died and eight were injured.
“All the injured are receiving necessary medical assistance,”
said the head of the Odesa regional administration, Oleg Kiper. He also reported that operational services are working at the scene, following safety measures.
Infrastructure Damage
Earlier reports indicated one dead and five injured due to attacks on two ports in the region. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleta confirmed that during the strike, infrastructure facilities, administrative buildings, and containers with oil were damaged.
New Attack Directions
It is worth noting that the Russian army has recently shifted its attacks to southern Ukraine, trying to destroy the logistics and energy infrastructure of the region to paralyze the operation of the 'grain corridor'.
This situation in the Odesa region highlights the ongoing aggression of Russia, which aims to undermine Ukraine's economy through attacks on critically important facilities. The events demonstrate a real threat to security in the region, where ports play a key role in international trade and food supply.
