Massive Shahed Drone Attack on Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk
According to TSN.ua: A residential building in central Lviv was hit during a large-scale drone attack involving Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles. Over 30 residents sought medical help after the assault. Seven victims remain hospitalized in Lviv, with three in critical condition.
The attack left many residents injured across the city. One eyewitness, Natalia, recounted her experience:
“I was making pizza in the kitchen, and my little girl was in the bathroom washing her hands. Then, in a second—dust, smoke. It crashed into my gas boiler. I knew it would explode—it was burning. We barely found the dog because I couldn’t see anything through the dust. I grabbed my daughter and ran out.” - Natalia

In Ivano-Frankivsk, the consequences were also severe. A six-year-old boy and five injured adults are currently in the hospital. Shahed drone fragments struck people, causing injuries. Additionally, windows at the city’s perinatal center were damaged.
This assault is part of the ongoing conflict in the region, highlighting the escalating danger to civilians. Local authorities and medical teams are working to assist the victims, but such incidents continue to threaten the safety of peaceful residents. Government agencies are likely to reassess security measures to better protect the population from future threats.
