Zelensky in the USA: meeting with Trump and key decisions before the New Year.
According to ТСН: Currently, some of the most active diplomatic days of this year are ongoing, and a lot may be decided before the New Year.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on social media.
"Right now are some of the most active diplomatic days of the year, and much may be decided before the New Year, and we are doing everything for this, but whether there will be decisions depends on partners. On those who help Ukraine and on those who put pressure on Russia so that the Russians feel the consequences of their own aggression," the head of state emphasized.
Zelensky also reminded that just this week the occupiers carried out over 2100 drone strikes, launched about 800 guided aviation bombs, and 94 rockets of various types, mostly aimed at Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
After this, he assured that repair crews, energy workers, and emergency responders of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working around the clock to protect people and restore energy supply.
"But it is equally important that sanctions against Russia work, all forms of political pressure for aggression, providing missiles for air defense to Ukraine, and for all of us to finalize the steps that will end this war and guarantee security. It is about such steps that we will discuss with partners today," Zelensky summarized.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also arrived in the United States, where he has a meeting scheduled with Donald Trump. They will meet in Palm Beach, Florida.
The president's statements reflect the intensification of Ukraine's diplomatic efforts, especially amid the escalation of the conflict with Russia. It is evident that the importance of international support continues to remain on the agenda. Zelensky's meeting with Trump could be an important step in attracting new allies for further support for Ukraine in confronting aggression.
