'How have you kept it together all this time?' - asked the journalist. The father replied, 'It's hard. I've thought a lot about this all these days. Why did he die? I searched for reasons because... He was a unique person... Being a strong personality, he would never have offended a small child.'
Volodymyr Parubiy added: 'He lived not for himself, not for his family. I always said that he is not only my son, but the son of all of us. He did nothing for himself, he gave everything for the state.'
Security and threats to life
The father emphasized that in 2020, Andriy had security due to received threats. Despite the danger, he did not back down and continued to fight. Andriy Parubiy was listed as a person subject to liquidation by Russia after the aggression against Ukraine.
