White House Forecasts Gas Price Drop Following Successful Iran Campaign.
U.S. Oil and Gas Prices Set to Decline
According to TSN.ua: The White House has indicated that oil and gasoline prices in the United States are likely to fall following the conclusion of military action against Iran. Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt reported on the progress of the campaign, which has now lasted ten days. During this period, over 5,000 hostile targets have been struck, and the number of Iranian missile attacks has been reduced by more than 90%. Additionally, more than 50 Iranian military vessels have been destroyed.

Leavitt noted that the recent spike in oil and gasoline prices is temporary, and this operation will lead to lower gas prices in the long term. President Trump reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the free flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz so that the U.S. and all allies can access the necessary energy resources.
Conflict's Impact on Energy Markets
In a related move, the U.S. has temporarily permitted India to receive Russian oil while working to offset a temporary global supply shortfall caused by Iranian actions. Karoline Leavitt stated that 'in ten days, this campaign has demonstrated compelling success, and American warriors are prevailing in this important fight at an even faster pace than we anticipated.'
These actions, she said, will help stabilize the oil market and lower prices in the near future.
The situation regarding U.S. oil and gasoline prices is closely tied to global political events, particularly conflicts in the Middle East. Military action in Iran can significantly impact energy markets, as the country is a major oil supplier. A drop in energy prices could benefit the U.S. economy, though the duration of this effect will depend on future geopolitical developments and overall oil market stability. The Strait of Hormuz is a critical global chokepoint for oil shipments, making its security a top priority for energy markets.
