Russia attacked a Kyiv hospital: one person killed, 70 evacuated.

According to ТСН: On the night of January 5, Russia carried out an attack on Ukraine using 'Shaheeds' and ballistic missiles. As a result, a hospital in Kyiv was destroyed, leading to one fatality.

The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, and the police provided detailed information about the events.

Destruction of the hospital

The explosion damaged a private medical facility where many patients were undergoing inpatient treatment. A total of 70 people were evacuated from the hospital.

“Of the 26 patients in the private clinic in the Obolonsky district, which was hit by the enemy's attack, 16 were transferred to municipal hospitals in the capital. Currently, four people injured as a result of the strike on the private medical establishment in the capital are in severe condition,” the statement said.

Casualty data

According to police information, as of 07:15, it is known that a man born in 1995, who was undergoing inpatient treatment, was killed. Among the injured are a 42-year-old woman, who received assistance on the spot, as well as two women aged 77 and 97, who were hospitalized.

Police and rescue operations

Police are working at the site of the strike, documenting the consequences of the attack.

It should be noted that on the second floor of the four-story medical facility, which was hit by the missile, a fire broke out and was swiftly extinguished. About fifty rescuers participated in eliminating the aftermath of the attack.

This attack once again confirms the seriousness of the threat that Ukraine faces in the context of war.
