45-Day Draft Deferment: Who Qualifies and What Are the Rules.
Temporary Deferment for Defense Industry Employees
According to Novyny.live: Employees of the defense industrial complex and those registered for military service can now receive a temporary deferment from mobilization. To do so, they must generate a military registration document using the 'Reserve+' app or the 'Diia' portal.
Under current regulations, only individuals who are officially registered for military service are eligible for deferment. It is important to note that paper-based military registration documents have not been issued since December 2022. The 45-day deferment is granted to allow for data updates, and during this period, individuals can extend their deferment for an additional year.
'To get hired, you need to create a military registration document through the 'Reserve+' app or the 'Diia' portal,' stated Yuriy Ayvazyan.
Meanwhile, Vladyslav Deriy emphasized that 'in this case, you will receive a deferment for 45 days, during which you can update your data and extend the deferment for a year.'
Why Military Registration Compliance Matters
It is essential to note that violations of military registration rules carry administrative penalties. Fines imposed by Territorial Centers for Recruitment (TCC) can be paid through the 'Reserve+' app. Therefore, maintaining proper military registration is crucial for safeguarding workers' rights and ensuring stability in the defense sector.
These changes highlight the growing importance of military registration amid the country's current challenges. The 'Reserve+' app and the 'Diia' portal have become key tools for ensuring accurate records and streamlining employment processes, which in turn supports the stability of the defense industry. Importantly, workers now have the opportunity not only to secure a temporary deferment but also to conveniently update their personal data, thereby protecting their rights and interests in this critical field.
