Pastor Experienced Clinical Death for 105 Minutes: What He Shared About His Encounter in Heaven

According to ТСН: An ordinary medical procedure turned into an extraordinary experience for American pastor Dean Braxton. While doctors prepared to transport his body to the morgue, the man experienced a journey to heaven, where he met deceased relatives and received a message from God.

Experience of Clinical Death

68-year-old Braxton, who was in a state of clinical death for over an hour and a half, believes that what he experienced in heaven drastically changed his life and calling — to tell others about what awaits people after death.

The man recounts that in 2006, a routine kidney stone removal procedure led to serious complications. Due to an infection, his heart stopped, and the medical staff had begun preparing documents to transport his body to the morgue when he unexpectedly regained consciousness.

Mystical Experience in Heaven

The pastor noted that doctors would call him a 'miracle man,' as despite experiencing clinical death for 1 hour and 45 minutes, he suffered no brain damage and ultimately made a full recovery.

Medical professionals emphasize that usually irreversible changes occur in the brain after 5-10 minutes without oxygen, so his survival is considered extraordinary.

During his near-death experience, Braxton felt no fear, but rather peace, joy, and a profound sense of comfort. This experience changed his worldview.

The man describes that he entered another dimension, which he calls heaven, where he met deceased relatives, angels, Jesus, and God.

'Not yet your time. Return'

— this is how, he claims, Jesus spoke to him before his return to Earth.

These words inspired Braxton to his mission — to help people know God. He believes that everything around in heaven, including nature, trees, and animals, radiated warmth and hospitality.

Changes in Life After the Experience

Braxton also shared that the first people he met were his deceased relatives, including his grandmother Mary. Over time, other ancestors joined him, some of whom he did not even know in life.

According to him, this experience changed his views on family, emphasizing the importance of each individual family to God.

'I didn't realize this until I got there — how significant it is. It truly changed my perspective on my own family.'

After the experience, the pastor claims that his wife, Marilyn Braxton, had to adapt to the new version of her husband. Communication in heaven occurred not through words but by transmitting thoughts from one consciousness to another.

Braxton also described the moment he reached what he calls the 'edge of heaven' — a place he cannot describe, but he is certain that crossing it would mean an ultimate break with the earthly world.

'Not yet your time. Return'

— this phrase echoed again from Jesus when he stood on the brink of returning.

The pastor recalls how he made the decision to return by observing his lifeless body, relatives, and medical personnel. When his heart started beating again, Braxton emphasized that it did not have a negative impact on his physical state but completely changed his vision.

Now he always asks himself: 'How does this affect eternity?' Realizing that material things are not eternal, he decided to focus his efforts on relationships with people and helping them know God.

'I really want people to meet Jesus through my experience of meeting Him. Sometimes I say — it’s not about me, but about your encounter with God. You are here, He is here — that’s all that matters.'

Thus, Dean Braxton’s story highlights the importance of spiritual knowledge and the possibility of positive changes that can occur after experiencing extreme situations. His experience can serve as inspiration for those seeking meaning in their lives and relationships with their loved ones.
