Red Cross denied the fake about payments of 2500 UAH: what else was a lie
The Red Cross denied the fake that the organization would pay Ukrainians financial assistance of 2500 UAH. This was also confirmed by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CPD), reports 'Glavkom'.

According to inkorr.com: Red Cross representatives emphasized that the organization is not making payments under the mentioned program. They noted that the information circulating online is based on outdated data, as the program has long since expired.

“Recently, the Russian Federation launched a new fake aimed at discrediting the Defense Forces. Propaganda resources are spreading an invented story about supposedly 'Polish mercenaries' who 'use drugs that allow them not to sleep or eat for up to two weeks.' The only source of this information is the testimony of a man presented as a Russian soldier.”

'Glavkom' also reported on how Donald Trump called the WSJ news about lifting the restriction on Ukraine's use of long-range missiles fake. In his social media post, Trump described this publication as 'fake news' and emphasized that 'the USA has no relation to these missiles, wherever they are from, and whatever Ukraine does with them.'

Thus, the news about financial assistance from the Red Cross amounting to 2500 UAH for Ukrainians turned out to be fake, as did the information about 'Polish mercenaries' and missiles used by Ukraine. The problem of disinformation and fakes remains extremely relevant, so it is important to always verify sources before spreading information. Modern technologies allow news to spread within minutes, but this same speed jeopardizes the truthfulness of information. Therefore, critical thinking and the ability to analyze sources become extremely important in the context of information warfare.
