Meteorologists revealed when to expect frosts in Ukraine in December.

According to ТСН: In December, significant warming is not expected in Ukraine. This winter month is observing quite unusual temperatures.

Should we expect warming this month

According to a representative of the Ukrhydrometcentre, it is unlikely that warmer weather than what is currently being observed will be expected in December, as there are no prerequisites for this yet. Temperatures remain quite high for winter.

“At night on December 8 — 9, a slight frost from +2 degrees to -4 degrees is possible, while during the day from 0 to +6 degrees. In the southern part of the country and in Transcarpathia, temperatures may range from +3 to +9 degrees,” said Natalia Ptukha.

Overall, it is expected that temperature indicators in December will be 2 degrees above the norm, the meteorologist added.

What weather to expect in the near future

It was previously reported that at the beginning of December, the air temperature will remain mostly warm. In some places, night frosts are possible, but mainly the indicators will not exceed zero.

Meteorologists from the Ukrhydrometcentre also presented the weather forecast for December. It is noted that the average monthly temperature may fluctuate from 3° frost to 5° warmth, which is 2° above the norm.

This warming, although unstable, will continue to affect weather conditions in Ukraine. Quite warm weather for December may lead to unusual phenomena, such as late frosts or delays in snowfall, which may impact the agrarian sector and the daily lives of Ukrainians. Meteorologists emphasize the importance of monitoring changes in the weather in the coming days.
