Russia prepares a new massive offensive: which directions are under threat

According to ТСН: The situation on the battlefield remains extremely challenging: the enemy is actively advancing in key areas of the front, particularly in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions. The occupying forces continue to advance despite significant losses.

Commander of the 429th Separate Drone Regiment 'Achilles' Yurii Fedorenko noted that they intend to continue fulfilling their tasks while spending billions of dollars on conducting the war.

What is the situation in different areas of the front

Russia has long promised to capture Kupiansk, but this has not happened yet. The city remains under the control of the Defense Forces. Recently, they managed to liberate several settlements and push the enemy back.

A similar situation is observed in Vovchansk, where the opponent has concentrated significant forces, equipment, and other resources. Despite this, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions.

The enemy has focused most of its attention on Pokrovsk. Before the war, the population of the city was about 60 thousand people. For over a year, the enemy has been unable to capture this city despite its numerical superiority. The main reason for this is the incredible resilience of the Ukrainian troops at the frontline.

Will Russia be at war in 2026

Although the enemy is achieving minor tactical successes, Ukraine has a chance to change the situation if our international partners recognize the real threats and stop supporting Russia while maintaining trade and economic ties with it.

Support for the Ukrainian state is needed not only through sanctions but also through effective control mechanisms.

'I believe we cannot say now that the war will end in the short term. Most likely, it will continue throughout 2026 and even into the beginning of 2027,' the military said.

Fedorenko also emphasized that we have a chance to endure and prevent resource losses for Russia; however, this requires financial injections and support.

If Russia loses the ability to advance and achieve tactical successes on the battlefield, it may create conditions for peace negotiations and conflict resolution.

Recall that the Russian arsenal allows the occupiers to carry out massive strikes on Ukraine one or two times a week. They can produce about 100 missiles a month and approximately 250 Shaheeds weekly.

Against the backdrop of active combat confrontation, changes in the strategic situation may become decisive for both sides. Continued support for Ukraine from international partners and the resilience of Ukrainian forces continue to play a key role in conducting the conflict.
