Fuel Prices in Ukraine as of March 21, 2023
According to TSN.ua: On March 21, 2023, gasoline prices at Ukrainian gas stations remained stable, while the cost of diesel fuel increased by 1-2 UAH. The average fuel prices on the morning of March 21 are as follows:
- A-95 gasoline: 72.64 UAH per liter,
- A-95+ gasoline: 76.80 UAH per liter,
- A-100 gasoline: 84.37 UAH per liter.
Diesel fuel (DF) prices rose to 82.82 UAH per liter. Specifically, at UPG stations, diesel increased by 1.50 UAH; at Socar, by 1 UAH; and at OKKO, by 2 UAH. The price of gas remains at 45.44 UAH per liter.
Fuel Cashback Program
Additionally, Ukraine has a fuel cashback program offering between 5% and 15% back, with a maximum monthly cashback of 1,000 UAH. This program is valid until May 1, 2023.
The stability of gasoline prices amid rising diesel costs may indicate steady demand for gasoline, while the diesel price hike could be linked to fluctuations in global oil markets or changes in supply volumes. The introduction of the fuel cashback program is designed to ease financial burdens on drivers and encourage consumption, potentially boosting Ukraine's fuel market in the short term.
