His crime involved posting details about military draft activities on the Telegram messaging platform. According to the case file, between 2024 and 2025, the individual used Telegram to disclose the whereabouts of military recruitment centers. As a result, he received a prison term of five years, with two years of that sentence suspended as probation.
Additionally, the convicted man contributed five thousand hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a factor the court took into consideration.
The ruling also mandates the confiscation of a Honor JSN-L21 mobile phone, the device used to commit the offenses. This case underscores the judiciary's firm stance against actions that compromise national security.
