Three Children Among the Wounded in Russian Drone Strike on Kharkiv Region.
Attack on Kharkiv Region
According to TSN.ua: On April 2, a Russian drone strike hit the Kharkiv region, leaving three children injured. The attack occurred around 2:30 PM local time in the village of Lymanivka, located in the Lozova district. Preliminary reports indicate that the drone used was a Geran-3 model.
The victims include two girls aged 12 and 13, and a 14-year-old boy, all diagnosed with acoustic barotrauma. In addition, a 61-year-old woman was wounded during a separate shelling of an apartment building in the city of Kharkiv.
Aftermath of the Strike
The attack also damaged a stadium field and shattered windows in a residential apartment block. This incident adds to the growing toll on civilians as the armed conflict continues to impact daily life in the region.
The case highlights the ongoing threat to civilian areas in Ukraine, where strikes on non-military targets increasingly harm infrastructure and endanger lives, especially those of children. The rising frequency of such events raises serious concerns about the safety of residents in conflict zones and underscores the urgent need to protect civilians from the devastating effects of war.
