The schedule for power outages in Kyiv has been changed for January 5: new hours.
According to ТСН: The schedule for power outages in the right-bank part of Kyiv has been updated for January 5, while emergency outages continue on the left bank.
Changes in the electricity outage schedule in Kyiv on January 5
Subgroup 2.2 outages
Previously:
from 08:00 to 12:00
from 18:30 to 22:30
Now:
from 08:00 to 12:00
from 13:30 to 15:00
from 18:30 to 22:30
Subgroup 4.2 outages
Previously:
from 01:00 to 03:00
from 11:30 to 15:30
Now:
from 01:00 to 03:00
from 11:30 to 18:00
At 15:00, the following will be disconnected:

"The schedule is only valid for the right bank. Emergency outages continue on the left bank. The return and disconnection of electricity takes from a few minutes to 60 minutes," the statement emphasizes.
Moreover, hourly power outage schedules are also in effect in several regions of Ukraine on January 5. Co-founder of the Institute for Energy Strategy, Yuriy Korolchuk, noted that power outages in Ukraine will continue at least until March due to critical load on the energy system during the heating season. He emphasized that even in the absence of new shelling, the energy system operates at the edge of its capabilities due to increased consumption of electric heaters, and the improvement in the situation during the holidays was only temporary due to the halt of industry.
Thus, the situation with electricity outages continues to remain complicated. Residents of Kyiv and other regions need to be prepared for changes in the electricity supply schedules. In times of crisis, it is important to keep track of updates and plan their affairs according to the new conditions to minimize inconvenience.
