Dollar and Euro Exchange Rates

What lies ahead for the dollar and euro? During this period, the cash dollar rate is expected to stay within the range of 44–44.5 UAH, while the cash euro rate will fluctuate between 50.5 and 52 UAH. Daily exchange rate swings could reach up to 0.3 UAH. The spread on the dollar at banks will be as high as 0.6 UAH, and for the euro, up to 1 UAH.

The weekly trend for currency rates indicates that in March 2026, Ukraine’s forex market has entered a phase of increased turbulence. The dollar rate may remain in a range of up to 45 UAH per dollar. As a result, Ukraine’s currency market is undergoing active processes that demand attention, yet still maintain a certain level of stability.

  • Growing dynamics in the forex market highlight the significant influence of the agricultural sector.
  • Import needs are adding extra pressure on exchange rates.
  • Managing volatility is critical for sustaining economic stability.

The rising activity in Ukraine’s currency market underscores the major roles played by the agricultural sector and import demands in shaping exchange rates. While farmers are selling off foreign currency, fuel importers could exert additional pressure on rates, emphasizing the need to monitor these factors for predicting future changes.
