Daughter of the US President's Special Representative called for punishment for those responsible for rolling out the red carpet for Putin
Megan Mobbs, daughter of the US President's Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, demands punishment for those who arrogantly used American soldiers to lay out the red carpet for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin during his visit to Alaska on August 15.
Mobbs emphasized that American military personnel in uniform should not have laid out the red carpet for the dictator of the Russian Federation. 'American soldiers in uniform should not have been used to roll out the red carpet for one of our main adversaries. Period. Horrible decision, and the person who made it must be held accountable,' stated Mobbs.
Reaction of Trump and the press
Despite the fact that Putin is an official war criminal according to the International Criminal Court, US President Donald Trump arranged an honor guard and red carpet for the Russian leader. Trump himself was delighted with the meeting with Putin, expressing his satisfaction and support.
During the meeting, reporters relentlessly questioned Putin about the killings of Ukrainians, to which he responded dismissively and aggressively, rejecting the accusations against him.
Following Putin's visit to Alaska, there was sharp outrage and criticism from Megan Mobbs, who claims that the use of American military personnel to arrange an honor ceremony for the dictator is unacceptable and requires accountability.Read also
