Chernihiv suffers from the attack of Russian kamikaze drones
The Chernihiv city military administration reported that the city was affected by a night attack from Russian kamikaze drones that were launched. Two private houses were partially destroyed due to falling debris, but fortunately, no one was injured.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene to restore order. Fires were localized at 5:40 AM. It should be noted that this is not the first case of drone attacks by Russian forces, as Ukraine has been in a full-scale military conflict for 1070 days now.
On January 28 at night, Russia launched several groups of drones towards Ukraine, resulting in explosions in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Kyiv region. In the Novobavar district of Kharkiv, a drone hit a civilian enterprise, leading to a fire covering an area of approximately 1500 square meters and the complete destruction of a two-story building. Buildings of neighboring enterprises and several cars were also damaged.
