DTEK Invests UAH 4.2 Billion to Prepare for Summer and Next Winter.
DTEK Energy's Investment Strategy
According to TSN.ua: DTEK Energy has announced a UAH 4.2 billion investment aimed at preparing for summer consumption peaks and the upcoming heating season, as well as funding repairs and restoration work. Between January and March 2023, the company had already allocated substantial resources toward these efforts.
The company has faced severe challenges, with its power stations coming under fire 11 times over the past six months. Despite these trials, energy workers have kept operations running. Company representative Oleksandr Fomenko stated:
'Thanks to the dedicated work of thousands of energy workers, we have managed to get through this season as well.' Oleksandr Fomenko
He also emphasized the importance of ensuring electricity and heat for the population: 'The key is that Ukrainians continue to have light and warmth.'
