Croatia will supply Ukraine with critical energy equipment for repairs after shelling.
According to ТСН: The statement from DTEK mentions that the government of the Republic of Croatia has agreed to supply critically important energy equipment that has been decommissioned at power plants. This will help repair energy facilities that have been damaged as a result of more than 220 Russian attacks.
Croatia is one of the few countries capable of providing Ukraine with equipment compatible with its energy system.
“DTEK expresses deep gratitude to the Republic of Croatia for supplying vital energy equipment to Ukraine at such a critical moment this winter. At a time when Russia intensifies attacks on civilian infrastructure and temperatures drop to minus 20 degrees, Croatia's support directly contributes to DTEK's efforts to restore electricity supply for millions of people,” emphasized DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko.
It was also reported earlier that DTEK is actively seeking equipment for the restoration of thermal power plants throughout Europe.
This cooperation demonstrates the importance of international support for Ukraine amidst the critical energy situation. The supply of equipment from Croatia has a significant impact on the restoration of energy infrastructure, which is a priority for ensuring the stability of electricity supply during the winter period.
