The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Mark Rutte, stated that Russia is providing North Korea with nuclear and missile technologies in exchange for troops and weapons, which may pose a threat to Western countries. According to Rutte, NATO has sufficient grounds to assert that Russian technologies are being supplied to North Korea in exchange for their troops being positioned alongside Russia in the conflict with Ukraine.
'In exchange for troops and weapons, Russia provides North Korea with support for its missile and nuclear program,' Rutte said.
According to the statements of the Alliance's Secretary General, such actions by Moscow and Pyongyang pose a threat to the West, especially to the United States. He also urged caution and not to be naive. Previously, Rutte opposed premature peace negotiations with Russia.
'We must not be naive. There are every reason to assert that nuclear and missile technologies are reaching North Korea. There is a risk that North Korea will use this to threaten not only us but also the USA and the region, including South Korea and Japan,' Rutte emphasized.
