Bus Queue System Expands to Two More Border Crossings: Launch Dates Announced.
Key Update for the e-Queue System
According to TSN.ua: Starting April 21, the e-Queue system for buses will go live at two additional border checkpoints. This expansion aims to streamline border crossing procedures for passenger carriers. The new locations include "Ustyluh — Zosin" on the Polish border and "Sokyrjany — Oknytsia" on the Moldovan border.
Registration for slots at these checkpoints opens at 9:00 AM on April 20, with slot-based traffic beginning at 9:00 AM on April 21. Currently, the e-Queue system is operational at 25 border crossings. After this rollout, only three checkpoints will remain without the system.
Benefits for Carriers
Regular carriers will be able to book time slots based on approved schedules, while irregular carriers can choose from available openings. This will simplify border crossing and reduce waiting times for buses.
Implementing the e-Queue system at new checkpoints marks a significant step in modernizing passenger transport infrastructure, ultimately improving customer service. With enhanced scheduling options, carriers can organize their routes more efficiently, potentially boosting international transport volumes. This aligns with broader digitalization trends, improving border flow control and management.
