Andrij Jermak Goes to the Front: Former Head of the Presidential Office Has Submitted His Resignation

According to ТСН: The former head of the Presidential Office, Andrij Jermak, has announced his plan to go to the front after submitting his resignation.

This information was shared in a comment to The New York Post, immediately following a search conducted by detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau at his residence.

In his speech to journalists, Jermak emphasized that he is prepared for all consequences and considers himself an honest and decent person. He apologized for potentially being unable to answer calls but did not specify when or how he intends to go to the front.

„I served Ukraine and was in Kyiv on February 24, 2022. Perhaps we will see each other again. Glory to Ukraine,”

– he noted.

Jermak also expressed that he feels discredited and unsupported.

„My dignity was not protected, even though I have been in Kyiv since February 24, 2022. I do not want to create any problems for Zelensky, so I am going to the front,”

– he added.

He voiced his displeasure with the “slander” against him and noted that he received no support “from those who know the truth.”

It was previously reported that Pavlo Palis is being considered for the position of head of the Presidential Office due to his experience and connections in the USA.

The parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party also supported President Zelensky's decision to dismiss Andrij Jermak from the position of head of the Presidential Office.

Thus, the situation in the Presidential Office remains tense, as the transitional phase could shift the centers of power. Jermak's successors could be new faces aimed at restoring trust and stability in the administration during the war.
