Zelensky's decision - a 'political gesture', Fico replied
The washing minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, responded to the decision of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and stated that he would stop the supply of electricity to Ukraine from 2025. He believes that the refusal to transit Russian gas is an expensive and ineffective 'political gesture' that will become a problem for the European Union.
Fico also proposes using Slovak territory for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia and accuses Zelensky of 'dragging the country into catastrophe'. At the same time, he claims that Russia is ready to continue supplying gas to the European Union.
