In Kyiv, they deny the order for increased readiness: what is known about the new leak.
According to ТСН: Recently, there has been active discussion in the media about the information that rescuers, law enforcement officers, and energy workers in the capital have received instructions to be on heightened readiness in the coming days.
It is reported that after the recent shelling of Dnipro, the likelihood of attacks on Kyiv has increased.
Response from rescue services
The Kyiv military administration recommends obtaining detailed explanations from rescuers, firefighters, and energy workers.
However, the police of Kyiv assured that they are not aware of such an order.
The Kyiv State Emergency Service also noted that since 2022, they have been in a constant state of increased combat readiness and are hearing about closed orders for the first time, so they cannot confirm or deny their existence.
“We are constantly ready for possible enemy attacks — today or tomorrow.”
The State Emergency Service does not rule out that such information could have been a previous information leak aimed at sowing panic.
Comments from the Kyiv City Administration
The Kyiv City State Administration explained that such an order has been in effect in Kyiv for 4 years, changing accents depending on the risks.
Experts have also noted the possibility of a massive strike by Russia on Ukraine during the cold snap.
The situation in Ukraine remains tense, especially in light of recent events. Authorities urge people to remain vigilant and not to panic, while maintaining the readiness of services to protect the population. It is important to follow official reports and adhere to the recommendations of competent authorities.
