Russians launched five missile strikes on Kharkiv: energy infrastructure damaged.
According to ТСН: Russian troops shelled Kharkiv on January 5, including the city’s energy infrastructure.
Details of the attack
Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Synegubov confirmed this information.
“A strike on the city has been recorded — preliminarily, on the industrial zone of the Slobidsky district,”Terekhov wrote on social media.
He also reported five missile strikes on Kharkiv.
“The enemy is striking the city of Kharkiv. The missile danger persists. Stay in shelters,”Synegubov noted.
Currently, the consequences of the shelling are still being established, and there is no information about casualties yet.

Later, the mayor clarified that Russian armed forces deliberately launched five strikes on Kharkiv's energy infrastructure, causing significant damage.
It is also worth reminding that on January 2, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with missiles, hitting residential areas. Subsequently, work was carried out to clear the rubble and identify the deceased. According to the latest data, the number of victims of the Russian missile strike has risen to six, including body fragments found at the site of the impact on a five-story building.
Against the backdrop of a constant threat, as confirmed by local officials, the situation in Kharkiv remains tense. Local authorities are urging residents to be cautious and keep up with safety news.
