Umerov to lead negotiations with Trump's team in Miami: details.
Ukraine's representation at negotiations in Miami
According to ТСН: Secretary of the NSDC Rustem Umerov will represent Ukraine at negotiations with representatives of US President Donald Trump's team in Miami.
Journalist Christopher Miller reported that Umerov plans to meet with American envoys this weekend, despite the resignation of the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.
It is worth noting that Andriy Yermak resigned ahead of the trip to Miami, where he was set to lead the Ukrainian delegation at negotiations regarding a possible peace plan for Ukraine.
Yermak was to travel to the US with several advisors to President Volodymyr Zelensky to meet with Trump's envoys — businessman Steve Witkoff and former senior White House advisor Jared Kushner.
It should also be noted that earlier President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed an order to dismiss Andriy Yermak from the position of head of the President's Office.
This change in the leadership of the Ukrainian delegation reflects the dynamic political situation in Ukraine and the existing efforts from the new representative in the negotiations. An important part of the upcoming meetings will be discussing possible ways to achieve peace and stability in the region. Rustem Umerov, as the new representative, already intends to work towards constructive dialogue with the US.
