Russia is deploying new reactive drones: what is known about this weapon.

According to ТСН: Russian military forces have intensified the use of high-speed reactive drones. There is a possibility that drones were also used last night.

This was reported by the head of communications of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ihnat, in the broadcast of 'KYIV24'.

“We are writing about drones of the types 'Shahed', 'Herber' and other types that may be reactive UAVs. They are used from time to time, although large-scale use is not observed, but they also enter the statistics,” he emphasized.

According to him, confirmation of the use of reactive drones during last night's attack will only be possible after the debris is discovered. Ihnat added that this type of UAV can also be identified by their speed.

“But they are detected and identified also by their speed and flight parameters, which allows us to understand what kind of drone it was. Therefore, more detailed information on this issue may appear later,” added the head of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is reminded that on the night of November 29, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. The occupiers targeted critical infrastructure facilities, using strike UAVs, as well as air and ground-based missiles. The main strike was inflicted on Kyiv region.

In particular, the Russian forces launched 596 strike UAVs of the types 'Shahed', 'Herber' and others. Air defense forces destroyed 558 enemy drones.

This case indicates an increase in threats from the Russian military, which are intensifying their attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure. Further development of the situation will require attention from Ukrainian forces as well as the international community, which continues to support Ukraine in its struggle.
