According to Ihnat, the pilot of the Mirage-2000 responded well to the crisis situation.
'The aircraft cannot be saved now, but the pilot did everything possible to reduce risks for people and directed the plane as far away from populated areas as possible!'— he emphasized.
The representative of the Air Forces urged the media and professionals in the field not to rush to conclusions.
Such accidents happen even with the most modern technology in the world, and their causes must be established.
Let us remind you that the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Mirage-2000 fighter crashed while performing a mission.
In March, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced plans to increase the number of Mirage-2000 aircraft, as they have proven their effectiveness in Ukraine.
In the news about the crash of the Mirage-2000 fighter, the representative of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ihnat, explained that the pilot tried to minimize potential risks for the civilian population by controlling the aircraft's descent into a safe area. An investigation into the causes of the crash is currently underway, but experts urge caution in making hasty conclusions. Such incidents are not uncommon in the aviation sector, so they require additional analysis and thorough verification.
