India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to meet with Putin in Moscow
Prime Minister of India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will visit Moscow to discuss 'peace efforts' aimed at resolving the Russia-Ukraine war, reports India Today.
'Ajit Doval will visit Moscow from September 10 to 11, where he will meet with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and discuss peace efforts aimed at resolving the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war,' the statement reads.
According to the Indian publication, Ajit Doval will meet with representatives of BRICS countries already working on security issues during his visit to Moscow from September 10 to 11. The main topic of discussion will be peace efforts aimed at resolving the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
Additionally, Doval plans to hold bilateral meetings with Russian and Chinese colleagues to continue discussions started during the July summit in Moscow.
It should be reminded that on August 23, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ukraine, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the visit, four documents were signed concerning medicine, cooperation in the agricultural sector, humanitarian relations, and culture.
Also, a joint statement by Ukraine and India was released, expressing important aspects of cooperation between the two countries.
