India announced strikes on Pakistan's military stations.

India accused Pakistan of missile and drone attacks
The Indian government agency announced that Pakistan carried out attacks on India's military facilities using missiles and drones. On May 8, explosions occurred in the city of Jammu, which were the largest in over 20 years. Almost 40 people were killed during two days of hostilities.
The Indian Ministry of Defense reported on attacks on military facilities in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur. According to Indian officials, the missiles and drones were of Pakistani origin and had been moved across the international border in the Jammu and Kashmir region.
Eight missiles launched from Pakistani territory at the settlements of Satwari, Samba, Ranbir Singh Pura, and Arnia were successfully intercepted by Indian air defense units. Although human casualties were avoided, material damage was recorded.
There are also reports of escalating tensions in the airspace over the city of Jaisalmer in the state of Rajasthan, which borders Pakistan's Sindh province. In turn, Pakistan claimed that Indian military forces are striking its territory, referring to a 'retaliation operation'.
