Kyivstar Photo Exhibitions Across Ukraine

According to TSN.ua: Photo exhibitions have opened in several Ukrainian cities, showcasing the work of Kyivstar engineers who maintain vital communications during wartime. The public can view these installations in:

  • Kyiv
  • Dnipro
  • Kharkiv
  • Lviv

The work of the company's technical teams was documented by Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberovy, who traveled across 10 Ukrainian regions in January 2026.

Exhibition Locations and Their Purpose

In Kyiv, the photos are displayed on Mykhailivska and Kontraktova Squares. In Dnipro, they can be found in Taras Shevchenko Park, and in Kharkiv, in Central Park. The Lviv exhibition is on the northern side of the City Hall. These works aim to highlight the efforts of engineers who ensure connectivity and keep telecommunications networks operational under extreme conditions.

Kyivstar, which has operated in Ukraine for 28 years, served approximately 22.5 million mobile subscribers and over 1.2 million fixed-line subscribers as of September 30, 2025. The company is investing $1 billion USD in new telecommunications technologies between 2023 and 2027. Over the last three years, Kyivstar has also directed over UAH 3.4 billion to support the Defense Forces and social projects.

This project is an opportunity to thank our technical specialists, thanks to whom millions of people in Ukraine remain connected. We are showing their daily reality, which borders on the extreme—for instance, restoring a base station after shelling, performing aerial work in freezing cold, or delivering equipment to inaccessible locations. Behind every call and message is their heroic work.

Oleksandr Komarov, Company Representative

This initiative is crucial for raising public awareness about the role of telecommunications in maintaining connectivity during war and the contribution of engineers to this effort. In a conflict where communication is vital for coordination, morale, and information security, such projects help underscore the importance of the profession and the heroism of those working on the technological front lines. Maintaining network integrity is a constant, high-stakes challenge in active war zones.
