Russia is facing serious issues in the military and economic spheres that call into question its ability to continue a full-scale war in Ukraine. This is reported by 'Glavcom' based on a report from analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).The Russian economy is encountering problems due to balancing the distribution of resources between weapons production and the civilian sector. According to the report, the Russian army has suffered significant losses, and the quality of recruits is low. Furthermore, the vast majority of resources are being redirected towards defense, leading to the decline of the civilian economy.ISW emphasizes that the United States can exploit these weak points of Russia by providing military aid to Ukraine, which will allow Ukrainian forces to inflict substantial losses on the Russian army and create better conditions for future negotiations.According to Forbes, Russia has lost nearly 10% of its fleet of strategic bombers Tu-22M. Before the invasion of Ukraine, Russia had about 60 of these bombers. Such a loss indicates problems in meeting defense needs and improves the situation for Ukrainian forces. It is noted that the United States has announced new sanctions against companies and individuals in Iran that supplied components for Iranian drones. These drones are used by Russia to attack Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. Thus, Russia is facing significant difficulties that affect its military capabilities and economy. Losses in the army and the redirection of resources to the defense sector are leading to the decline of the civilian economy. Russia's vulnerabilities can be exploited by the United States to enhance support for Ukraine and create better conditions for future negotiations. Additionally, Russia has lost 10% of its fleet of strategic bombers Tu-22M, indicating problems in meeting defense needs and improving the situation for Ukrainian forces.
