Israeli Victory Strategy: Humiliation of Hezbollah, Iran and Criticism of the USA - Media.
The Israeli Defense Forces show the world how to defeat terrorists. The Israeli government remains focused on its goal: to defeat terrorists and restore security across its entire northern border with Lebanon.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu understands that he is fighting not only for Israel's future but also for his personal future. He remains politically resilient in this challenging environment, which allows him to concentrate on the complex tasks needed to defeat the terrorists. Many Israelis blame him and his security apparatus for the horrific Hamas attack on October 7, writes The Telegraph.
Iran has evidently created this situation by fueling hatred over the years. Just as Putin threatened Western support for Ukraine with nuclear war, Iran has tried to keep Israel and its allies in check by threatening escalations and jihadist violence throughout the Middle East and Western capitals. Israel has ignored these threats and muted US calls to avoid escalation.
The ayatollahs now understand that Israel is capable of delivering a much stronger blow than they can respond with.
Iran, by providing support to its proxies across the Arabian Peninsula, hoped to subdue Israel. They neglected their own defense. They do not have an "iron dome" to protect Tehran from Israeli missiles. They have likely given away too many missiles and drones to Russia in hopes of obtaining nuclear technologies, which they currently do not possess when they need them the most.
The White House may feel humiliated because Netanyahu ignored Biden's "do not confront to avoid escalation" stance. But, as a true friend, the US has helped protect Israel from an Iranian attack, just as the UK has.
Similarly, Obama's red line on chemical weapons in Syria in 2012 was ambiguous, allowing Assad to remain in power after hundreds of chemical attacks. In fact, one could argue that Assad continues to hold power due to the use of chemical weapons.
It can be seen that Biden understands Putin's bluff. After numerous empty nuclear threats, Biden should allow Zelensky to directly target Putin.
