Situation with the peace plan

According to ТСН: The situation surrounding the "American peace plan," which was evidently influenced by the Kremlin, shows how important it is to remain vigilant regarding Russia and to avoid its traps.

This was stated by the EU's representative for foreign affairs and security policy, Kaja Kallas, in an exclusive comment to TSN.

"We cannot lose our vigilance regarding Russia. They are very skilled at pushing processes into a corner from which they emerge with greater benefits than they had before. In my opinion, we must avoid falling into such traps," she commented on the situation with the proposed peace plan for Ukraine.

Kaja Kallas emphasized that Russia invaded Ukraine by resorting to aggression and annexation, which violates international agreements. Therefore, during peace negotiations, it's important to focus on ensuring that Russia does not violate its obligations again.

"We really need to focus on what exactly Russia has to do to prevent this from happening again," the EU representative noted.

It is also worth noting that Bloomberg reported that Witkoff advised Russian advisors to Putin. This became known from a transcript of a conversation that took place in October. An American official advised the Kremlin on how to suggest a peace plan regarding Ukraine to U.S. President Donald Trump with flattery. This conversation preceded the emergence of the scandalous "Trump peace plan" with 28 points.

These events underline the complexity of the situation on the international stage, where issues of peace and security in Ukraine remain on the agenda. The response from the European Union and the USA indicates the importance of supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression and the need for a cautious approach to any peace proposals that may seem enticing but contain hidden threats.
