Kyiv remains without power: when to expect the restoration of electricity supply
According to Novyny.live: The situation with electricity supply in Kyiv remains complicated. The Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk reported that due to constant intense attacks by Russia, there are no forecasts regarding the restoration of electricity supply in the capital. He noted that the most difficult situation is in the capital region, in the city of Kyiv.
Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, also confirmed on January 13 the information about a significant deterioration of the energy situation in the city. Currently, emergency power outages are being implemented in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine. Mykola Kolisnyk added that emergency schedules are in effect, as emergency recovery works are ongoing.
Status of electricity supply and recommendations
Kyiv continues to remain in a situation where electricity supply is unreliable, and the residents of the capital are forced to endure the consequences of these attacks. Authorities urge citizens to be prepared for prolonged outages and to follow recommendations for energy conservation.
The situation with electricity supply in Kyiv is a consequence of the ongoing military actions in Ukraine. Emergency outages and the lack of clear timelines for the restoration of energy supply confirm the seriousness of the challenges faced by Ukrainian cities. Citizens must be prepared for potentially prolonged difficulties in ensuring electricity supply, which requires them to adapt to new living conditions.
